If that is the case then it is important that you follow up with the cardiologist You may be at higher risk but that doesn't mean you can't still live a long healthy life especially considering you say you have made lifestyle changes. Keep up with them and anything else the doctor tells you. And post anytime. There are many here that are going through the same thing.
Thank you so much. I have done a lifestyle change. I think it just bothers me because I am 55 and M Dad dies at 56 of the same heart arrhythmias except he had a severe heart attack at 4o. They just found out I have had a mild heart attack sometime. But thank u for listening to me. I will keep u posted.
Yes, there are many here who have the same issue. 8,000 a day is quite a bit but not considered in the danger range which is around 20,000. I would suggest trying to watch caffeine and energy drinks, sugary, spicy and foods high in carbohydrates, If you work out intensely try to ease up just a bit and make sure you do a cool down. Address any issues with acid reflux if you have them. As well if you have any stress or anxiety find ways to deal with that with deep breathing, meditation, or yoga or see someone for extreme cases. These are some of the top triggers to rule out. If they continue to be a bother interrupting your life then you may be offered meds to help and some are offered an ablation to try and correct the issue but the stats for ectopic ablations are not as high as those for svt. But first and foremost try to take a look at your life and see if there are any triggers you can eliminate to help these extra beats go away. Best of luck with the doctor and getting a handle on these things.. They should do a full workup of your heart to check if it is structurally healthy and if it is then you likely not in any danger from your ectopic beats. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.
