Maybe you coud try atenolol. I've been on for decades and although I'm tired, I get right up in the AM. When I went off of it, I thought I would have more energy, but I didn't, so maybe you need a switch.
Sinus Tachycardia, my heart rate would go up to about 160, while wearing monitor but they could not get it to happen during tests. Doctor said was happening in the right area of the heart. I told him I was under tremendous stress but he thinks it's in the firing system. My blood pressure stays good 128/70 all the time, good cholesterol is low. I'm only taking 25mg but I can hardly get up in the morning
What were you put on for? I weaned myself off of atenolol (put on for fast heart rate 22 years ago). I didn't have any more energy and my HR went right back up. I take 25 mg instead of the 50 I used to take, but if I have problems, I'll take another 25 at times.
