vit D deficiency

i am suffering from lack of vit D. doc prescribed me to take 200000 iu of vit d every week. is this high amount of vit D at once bad for heart or not???

One of  my best friends had this exact same thing and took the high dose of D for a short time only.  It helped.

That''s a lot of D! This is like..... 28 times the recommended daily allowance, but below the recognized toxicity  threshold of 100,000IU/day.  Constant Vit. D overdose can cause heart and organ damage.  Hopefully, this is a temporary dosage?
