Philadelphia area electrophysiologist recommendations for A-fib

My 44 year old daughter has developed A-Fib.  She's looking for a good Philadelphia or South Jersey electrophysiologist that has plenty of experience in that area.  Any recommendations from first hand experience would be appreciated!

So my sister has some connections, and got an appointment for our daughter with a Dr. Marchlinski at Penn.  The problemnis that it's out a ways, so she has to continue with her meda foe a while.

For now, she's on a cocktail of Cardizem, Flecainide, Atenolol, and of course Eliquis.

That's nice that she will get the top gun at the start.  The wait will be worth it.  Your daughter is still early in her AF progression so it should be OK for the wait.  It is easier to ablate when it is still paroxysmal.

There is no question that UPenn has the top complex ablation program in the Philadelphia area, if not in the country.  It is the tops in the country for PVC/VT ablation.  Probably top 2 for all complex ablations in the country.  Many of the best young EPs in the country got their training there.  If your case is complex, just make sure the ablationist doing it is not a trainee/fellow.  It is a teaching institution so simpler cases get handed off to newer fellows.  Best of luck in getting your daughter cured.
