I have lived with this for 30 yrs!! Then I found out my biggest trigger was ICED TEA! Can't touch coffee, or carbonated drinks, If I eat too much chocolate it happens too. The happiest I've been in
a while was when I eliminated the tea and the PVCS STOPPED!!!!!!! I found that even herbal tea,
the onces that stimulate are too much for me. I am now back to working the night shift and have
even started lifting weights. Lost 5 lbs. I have to watch my blood sugar too. Mine were really bad
in the AM if my sugar goes over 120, that sounds odd but thats what happens. If I eat junk food
my sugar gets out of whack and I may have one or two but nothing like before I stopped the tea.
I drink carrot juice and eat a modified veggie diet. Still go to McDonalds occ. but I feel like a new
person. Good luck!!
I have noticed if I'm lacking on sleep, they come quite often, as compared to when I sleep a lot. Also, getting really stressed out about a test or when I'm very anxious and on edge. I have noticed that when my sinus tach is going, I don't get them, but the lower my heart rate goes, the more I notice them. I typically get them just sitting in class or at home...usually while I'm focused on homework/lecture. So, it seems stress brings them on for me.
LOL at "running all day was just not a good option"
Darn there goes that idea. :)
My pvcs were set off by lack of sleep, caffeine, MSG, large meals, hormonal fluctuations, anxiety....and sometimes, just from breathing : )
My doctors used to tell me I could ward off the pvcs if I just kept running. It's when my HR would go back to normal that the pvcs would return. Running all day was just not a good option... : )
Have you found anything that helps to keep the pvcs quiet?
it means they are coming from the Right Ventricular Outflow Tract. That's were the PVC is initiated (rather than the sinus node where normal heart beats are initiated).
