I have type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Today the doctor did something he has never done before: He listened to my heartbeat through a stethoscope through my feet(around the ankles). He said my heartbeat was very loud, even, and strong. He said this means the circulation in my feet is good. I asked him if that means no heart disease and he laughed and said, "The top doesn't always match the bottom". I was too scared to ask what he meant but now my curiosity outweighs my fear. What does that mean?
