The sharp pains and popping are likely due to ectopics.  They can hurt unfortunately but probably hurt worse now because of your svt issue.  Once you get that cleared up you should stop noticing the ectopics.  I am quite a bit older than you so it took a while but my ectopics were really noticeable before I had my ablation and now that I am a year past it I barely notice them so hopefully the same will happen to you.  That said, if you are having these symptoms while you are exercising I might refrain from doing so until you have seen the doctor.  You are likely fine and nothing would happen but it is better to have a doctor check you out first just to be sure.  Better safe than sorry they say.  It might also help the ectopics settle down a bit for you as well because the more stressed out your heart the more you will get them and the more opportunities for you to fall into svt episodes.  So just give your heart a bit of a break now until you get this all sorted out.  Good luck.

Thank you for the fast response as I love this community... I do notice my heart seeming to skip during exercise a lot and when I do exercise sometimes on random occasions it takes me over an hour to calm my heart rate from 200+ and yes they do mostly happen when I'm not exercising and no not necasserially stopping to one beat and also I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but sometimes ill breath in with a sharp pain in my heart so i stop breathing ill start breathing in deeply and feel a pop in my heart.

Hello John, are you svt episodes tied into exercise or do they happen randomly starting and stopping on what feels like one beat?  SVT that happens when you exercise can be caused by dehydration as well as not being properly nourished beforehand.  Simply being dehydrated in and of itself can elevate your heart rate as well as having imbalances in your electrolytes or thyroid issues.  These must all be investigated to rule them out.  If, however, your heart beat suddenly starts to race, especially for no reason at all, then you may have what is called an accessory pathway svt.  Your heart is a muscle that is made up of a bunch of fibers.  In some people some extra fibers connect in such a way as to allow the electrical signal of the heart to get caught in a loop.  There are a certain set of circumstances that needs to happen for the signal on the extra pathway to actually complete the loop but one of the triggering factors is what is called an ectopic beat.  These are extra beats that happen in the atria/pacs or the ventricles/pvcs.  This is likely what you feel when you feel like your heart is skipping.  It is the pause that happens after an extra beat that allows the signal on the extra pathway to complete its circuit and get caught in a loop.  An EP (electrophysiologist) Cardiologist can correct the extra pathway through a cardiac ablation but you will still be left with your ectopics if you have them.  That said, eliminating yourself of the extra pathway will help calm down your ectopic beats as the two conditions do tend to feed off each other if one has them both.

In any event, neither condition is deemed a threat to a person's health so long as the svt is manged, and episodes are kept as short as possible and the person has a healthy heart to begin with, which you very likely have at  your age unless you have a family history of heart disease but most don't.  However, if you do have an accessory pathway svt it will not go away on its own so with your parents input do consider doing the ablation if one is offered to you.  But the most important first step is to get it diagnosed so go and see the cardiologist to find out what specifically is going on and then take it from there.  We can help talk you through it all as you go.  Best of luck and keep us posted.
