I was diagnosed with tricuspid regurgitation, last year.
Plus my right side of heart was enlarged.
They have said, my heart muscle is OK.
Hello, sinus tachycardia is a heart rhythm in which the rate of impulses coming from the pacemaker of the heart (the sinoatrial node) is elevated (>100 bpm in adult population). Several factors may be responsible of a persistent sinus tachycardia in a structurally normal heart, but some of the most common are: hyperthyroidism (increased activity of the thyroid gland), anemia, anxiety/stress, and chronic infections/fever. Some patients can also have an intrinsic sinus node condition, characterized by a high intrinsic heart rate that causes a higher heart rate at rest and an exaggerated response to exercise.
