I had it for nine straight weeks once, and that was constant. It stopped one day out of the blue. It felt awful and I was depressed, but must have gotten used to it, because I never knew when it stopped...... I was an RN in a cardiac critical care unit. We used to get patients in with bigeminy. We kept them overnight, did nothing, then released them. I think it was to soothe them. The cardiologists would sometimes try a beta blocker, that is about the extent of it.
I have bigeminy off and on also. If you have it all the time or frequently, the doctors may do an ablation or they may monitor you to watch for heart failure. I have read some people live their entire lives with it. Try not to worry. Talk to your cardiologist about it.
