Yes. I had my ablation in November of 2010, and have not had an event since. I continue to experience clusters of mostly PVC's which last a week or so, then may disappear for weeks. These were believed to be the trigger for my many SVT events over my life. I hope that you can get a handle on your problem.
Sorry, I meant are you SVT free now
I can halt them myself but still worry about the number of PAC"s. I have been told that ablation is not an option because they are firing from too many different locations. That was a few years. Maybe it's time for another check-up. Are you SVT now?
I had SVT for 54 years, yet competed at a very high level in speed skating and track cycling. If cardiomyopathy was a problem, it would have revealed itself with these two sports. PVC's and the like can be a problem if you have thousands of them daily. If you have as many as you estimate, it might be a good idea to see a cardiologist. Do you halt your SVT yourself, or does it convert on its own? I was experiencing about 3-5 events per month before my ablation.
