chest pain

ok...my oldest son had an ablation 3 yrs ago for AVNRT.  His younger brother has had 5 ablations for various forms of SVT.  My oldest is now complaining of frequent episodes of chest pain that are similar to electric shocks with light headedness and shortness of breath.  He states that when it happens he feels like he could pass out.  He says it only lasts a minute or so but has been happening more and more frequently.  He states that he does not really feel his heart race like before the ablation but that it does not feel "right".  Any ideas?

Welp, the right thing to do is see your doctor. It might not be a heart rhythm issue if he doesn't feel his heart racing, and only experiences sharp chest pain.  You never know until the monitoring is done, but there are several possible reasons for sharp chest pains. A good doc will know what to do about this.

I'd arrange for him to have event monitoring to see what the rhythm is during his symptoms.
