exercise and tachycardia

I am an exercise physiology student.I work with Physical education and fitness arm of an institution.I have a student who after jogging experiences tachycardia and fainting.she has no sign of any medical ailment.what could be are likely problem?I know this is very hard without subjecting her to any test.but does exercise induce tachycardia?

Yeah I'd definately look into it for the fainting. It sounds like their blood pressure is becoming too low, which would case their heart rate to increase and can sometimes lead to blacking out.

It can.  But your student should seek medical help immediately to rule out any serious conditions.  It isn't "normal" for students to suffer tachy and faint after jogging, so medical follow-up is--or at least should be--required.
