I would say it depends on the person and how complex, how long the procedure. I think it may also depend on the skill and preferences of the doctor. I forget which person had the doctor that wanted to do it the "old-fashioned way" and they suffered quite a bit. My doctor was more concerned about my safety and comfort.
Yes, you'll feel some groin discomfort and fatigue but it shouldn't keep you bed-ridden. Get up and move around, do things you enjoy. You aren't ready to climb mountains but you should be able to get out and about.
Thank you all for your comments and information on what happened in your situation. I'm sorry that most of you had a worse recovery time than I am having. I guess from what you all have stated that it is okay to still be tired.
We did and you aren't babbling!!!! We both had bad experiences but I am trying not to think about it but it is hard. It actually scared the **** out of me. Wheeew. I pray that your is successful too. Mine was for 6 years but now it visits me daily. After the holidays they will schedule me for another one to help with the DEMONS again. I hate them. I want to be normal but to me what is normal? I am so happy for you if yours took care of your problem. Good luck and keep a positive attitude.

I had ablation 6 years ago for SVT's,PVC's,PAC's and it literally took me about two months to get past the aches and tiredness. I had 2 A-nodes and 5 flaps of skin that had to be ablated. I suffered through the whole thing,I am glad to know that you can call it a simple procedure. I wish I could have called it that. I was so traumatized by the whole situation that I was afraid to move. My groin area was so sore and bruised that I looked like I had been beat on both legs with a bat. I had to lay in ICU with 50 pounds of weights on my legs to keep me still I have RLS. (Jumpy legs) My heart had beat so fast for so long that I couldn't adjust my breathing with my new heart beat. I went from 129 resting to 50 resting, I was out breathing my heart. Now I have learned to control my breathing, Good luck I am sure that you will heal in time and things will be wonderful. God bless you for a quick recovery!!!
