So about 30,000 per day.... I think that's way too many to not have something done about it. I'm not familiar with your medical system in the UK. Can you go to a different electrophysiologist?
Try coughing to see if that breaks the pattern you find yourself in. Try getting active as a higher heart rate from exercise can sometimes make them stop. As well, like I suggested before, do whatever you need to do to get a handle on the anxiety so you can be a candidate for an ablation and/or help lessen the symptoms you are having. You can't get these to stop completely but you can take steps to get yourself in a possible position for a cure or at least in a better mental state to be able to function. Best of luck. I know you are miserable and I do hope you feel better soon. Stay strong.
thankyou. It really is horrific. at times I cant feel them happening and then I feel my pulse and they ARE happening.... like 5 beats then one, 3 beats, pvc, 2 beats, pvc, 5 beats pvc... all day everyday. Im so scared I will faint
If I cough it sometimes breaks them but for less than a minute :(
(((HUGS))) My heart goes out to you. I hope you can get a handle on these soon or that they go away. That sometimes happens too. They come and go sometimes for what seems like no reason.
Hello,
My best to you, and my heart goes out to you....i have had very bad episodes of PVCs, many thousands, but someimes they eventually
go away. Try a beta blocker (Sectral) if your doctor writes it. It helped mine at their worst. I would see about an anti anxiety agent to help you through this. I know how miserable this is .... I had an EP study done on mine in '99 and I did not like it one bit. I have had PVCs for almost 40 years.
Stay close to the forum. And do try to get something for the anxiety.
Also, walking daily, good excersise excellent for PVCs.
God Bless
