Heart palpitations for several days

I am 25 years old femail and i have been having heart palpitations for about 5 days, i get them throughout the day. every 5 to 10 mins and go without any for an hour or so.  I also feel very lightheaded and unbalanced.

what should i do?

Most heart palpitations are benign and the lightheadedness could be due to the stress of having the palpitations...it happens to me.

For peace of mind, it is best to check with a cardiologist.

Better check them out with your doctor....It would be good to have an ekg to see what's going on.  Sometimes it isn't seriuos at all, but with the lightheadedness you're feeling it should be evaluated.
