Palps/SOB

I am a 32 year old black female that is a little over weight.  I walk about 2 miles 5 days a week.  For the last 3 weeks I have been having some slight chest pain at rest on the right side feels more like pressure.  I can not seem to get a deep breath.  Now sometime when am just laying down or at rest I hear some rumbling in my chest on the left side.  The sound in my chest sounds like it would if you have a chest cold and have a upper resp. infection.  I hope you under stand.  I just wondering if you could tell me what could this be.

I only have SOB after I walk not during I walk.  I been walking for about 2 months but this just started about 3 weeks ago.  The SOB do not come all time after I walk just sometimes.  I also sing in a choir and after I sing i feel SOB.  Now the palaps comes occiasional, I just feel my heat beat fast.

Your post says SOB, is that only when doing your walk, or with any physical movement? Have you been doing regular walks long?  I hope so, it should be good for you in every respect.

There's noting in your post that sets of an alarm in my mind, but I admit I don't understand the sounds in you chest... your subject also says Palaps, do you feel an irragular or exter or missing heart beats?   How are you sensing your heart beat?  I have a hard time feeling or even finding my heart beat, so I use a stethoscope (purchased at Walmart for a few $$) or my chest strap athletic heart monitor.  Without these devices I'd not be sure I have rhythm problems: I have AFib.
