severe fainting issues

I am a 39 yr old female. I have had several spisodes of fainting with numbness and tingling of all extremities. One of the episodes I had tempory paralysis of all 4 extremities as well as purple color and they curled up. I was told I hyperventelated. I have been having the numbness in my arms and legs nearly constant now and I now get chest pains. I do not know what to do or where to go. I have had many differing exams from CT's to MRI's to EKG's. All state normal. I have failed a Tilt Table test. At 28 minutes into the exam my heart rate shot from 92 to 145 in less than 2 seconds. I have always had very low blood pressure too. I had the final boiling point today when I was driving and an episode began. I feel thankful to be able to reconginize the symptoms in enough time to either pull over the car or lay down so when I do pass out I do not injure myself. If anyone has any advise for me please.. please give it to me. I am at wits end. This is now starting to interfer with my employment. I appreciate any advise. Thank you.

Were you diagnosed with some form of Dysautonomia based on your symptoms, and the results of your Tilt Table Test?  MedHelp has a Dysautonomia community if you would like more information on Dysautonomia and Autonomic Dysfunction.

If you haven't been diagnosed yet, I'd recommend you start by visiting an Academic Teaching hospital.

I have fainting myself (have had it for two years). All of my tests have been normal as well (I've had MRIs, EKGs, event moniteres, you name it). Recently, a doctor noticed that my heart rate goes up (much like yours does).  His suggestion is an "EP study", which apparently can catch heart symptoms even when fainting isn't being triggered.  I'm not sure if it will catch anything either, but it can't hurt to let you know that there might be another heart test that might get you results.

Have you had your electrolyte (potassium, etc) levels checked? How about your Thyroid?
