I think the BP may benefit from a mild beta blocker, say something like 25 mg of MetoprololMetoprolol Metoprolol succinate er Metoprolol tartrate Metoprolol-hydrochlorothiazide a day. This is a prescription medication, I am just suggesting and it requires your doctor's approval. That med should lower your BP, but it may also lower you HR a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys. You say low 40s, I take that not to mean 39 or less. Some people have very efficient cardiovascular systems, and if you are not dizzy nor faint nor have headaches... must be some other problems, then the low HR works for your, be happy your heart isn't working as hard as mine.
