My heart drops beats while sitting but returns to normal when lying or standing

About 5 years ago I started to experience monetary dizziness occasionally while sitting.  My cardiogram indicates my heart problem as “sinus bradycardia with borderline 1st degree AV block”.  I was told that I should consider a pacemaker. I’m reluctant to get one so fast.

My symptoms come and go.  I try to monitor it with a Polar chest sensor.   The Polar sensor records my heart beat interval in milliseconds and sends the result to an app on my phone. I then convert the beat interval into beats per minute and plot the bpm value against time on an excel chart.  I have recorded some interesting patterns. In one recording event, I changed my position every 5 minutes in sequence and recorded the following heart rate pattern: (1) sitting in a chair – bmp goes up and down from 50 to 25, (2) lying on the floor – bmp varies from 48 to 51, (3) sitting in a chair again – bmp same as in (1), and (4) standing up still – bmp varies between 60 and 70. Is this normal for sinus bradycardia or does this offer any clue as to the underline causes of my problem? By the way, I’m 63 and not on any meds.
