weak heartbeat?

Ok, hi. I have PVC arrhythmia linked to a Chiari malformation of the brain. Usually this is only evident through the 'normal' skipping sinking heartbeat feeling, but a few times recently I was doing something strenuous and my heart felt 'flatter' than it should, like it was not beating hard  enough for what I'd been doing. Then, a few minutes later, I'd gotten flash after flash of weakness and dizziness and fear and I felt like my heart would just slow to a stop.
Do any of you know what this might be?

Interesting that you sense it as a slowing as opposed to a speeding up.  Mine felt crazy manic fast.  Have you been offered an ablation to try and correct the issue?  I agree, anytime a person has symptoms with the heart they should always be evaluated by a doctor no matter how insignificant they may assume the symptoms are.  More often than not, in a structurally normal hear, there is nothing to be concerned about but it is always best to let a doctor evaluate you first as opposed to ignoring symptoms.  Well glad you have some answers.  I hope you are feeling better now.  Take care.

I just wanted to update, I've been diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, svt, so anyone with similar sympoms should see a cardiologist. Hope this helped.
