Hope you feel better soon. Remember, the research shows that even frequent PVCs do not affect longevity. Even those who had 500 ectopics an hour had the same mortality rate over 10 years as the general US population (HL Kennedy Long Term Follow up of Assymptomatic Subjects with Frequent Ectopy).
Yes you do have to buy the sensor. Not sure about the ipad. I have it for my android.
thanks for the info hefner33.
I am trying to download the application to my Ipad, but need to upgrade to 5.0. thanks again. my Ipad is running version 4.3, need to get an update.
thanks again, sounds very good.
Thanks Artaud,
Feeling ok, but for the usual. Thanks for the info
And I agree with you on the GI correlation to insane Ectopics.
I am still waiting on my GI schedule office to get me an Endoscopy and or an Upper GI. I will look into the AliveCor. Thanks Artaud and all. Take Care
Oh wow, did not know you could get a monitor, I will have to check into that, and I guess you need a smart phone for it, wonder if you can use a iPad
Heres a recording I just did little earlier

Yes I use this Alivecor. A great tool. Theres no monthly fee. Only fee you pay is when you want a cardiologist or a cardiac tech to read it. But your able to store your readings, print them, or even setup your account so your dr can access them anytime he wants
Here it is, for Apple and Android. Requires an additional device as well.

Hi Tom,
Hope you feel better. If you feel that things are different, see if you can get an event monitor.
Also, on the market, and apparently recently FDA approved, are event monitors that you can buy, download an app to the phone, and when you feel an unusual rhythm, I believe you place your thumbs on a small rectangular transducer and it records your rhythm and sends it out. I would surmise that a monthly fee is involved. I'm going on Monday to the GI Doctor, there's too much correlation between me eating and getting insane rhythms. I'm printing out the article and taking it with me.
