why does it flutter

Just lately I  have been getting these heart flutters and I get sorta breathless , feel  tired have to take a deep breath. It doesnt happen all the time but throughout the day more then 5 times.  I am 62 this year, I was diaignosed with anxiety attacks when I was 50. Went to counseling have been ok ever since, But at that time my heart started doing that fluttering and my naturepath had me take COQ10 200mg a day, which after 3 days it was gone.  I'm under some stress with family etc. no more then most. Is that why it does it??

Arizona Jim: Thank you for your response to my question.  I'm thinking I will wait for another week doing different activities and see if it still persists, if so I will contact my  doctor and go from there.  Thanks Again  Sewah

Sewah - Most everyone has occasional extra beats and that could be what you're feeling.  However, I'd certainly make an appointment with my doctor or cardiologist to let them know what you're feeling and make sure that you're okay.  They may want you to wear a monitor for a period of time just to see what kind of heart rythm disturbances you're having (if any).
