Check out a sneak peek of our new look & feel

Hi,

If you take a look at Dr. McWilliams Heart Rhythm forum at http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/91 you'll see a sneak peek of a new look and feel that we have designed for MedHelp. Take a look and we'd love to hear what you have to think.

I like it how it is if that matters at all.  I think we all just like our little world just how it has been...we've had enough change already ;)

There is an old saying “you should leave well enough alone.” I don’t know why you want to change it other than being able to cram more ads in and ads mean income. The new format kind of reminds me of You Tube without the videos. I am curios, what is the consensus on the other forums?

I think change is a great thing. However in this case I like the forum just the way it is. I cant imagine opeing all those drawers either. I personally dont care for the "new format". Whats the point of changing if this is working so well.

Lets change things that arent working as well and leave the forum as is.

I checked out the new look a couple times.  It's very modern and looks much like the trend nowadays.  There's a quit smoking forum I've looked at that looks & feels very similar.  Can't say I've spent much time looking at it though, since I started to buy cigarettes again.  ; ]  The depth of knowledge here won't change if the "new look" is adopted but I must agree with others.  The simplicity of this board is what is so attractive.  I can't imagine opening all those little drawers if I were still on treatment.  It would be almost as confusing as trying to read those boards that have   little dancing, jumping up and down animated creatures wearing big smiles.  I would very much miss the clean & simple look and feel of this forum as it is.  But hey, Medhelp, do what cha gotta do I s'pose.  I will add that I do not know if I could have survived my treatment without this forum.  For that I am deeply grateful.

Do we get a vote???   If there's a vote and 'leave it as is', is one of the choices, then, that's my choice.  I've been here for a lot of years and one of the reasons I've stayed is because it's been, well....like Medhelp and not like the other forums.  I hope you don't change a good thing.  The older I get, the less I like change...sorry....   Mostly, I have to say that you all have done a great job.  Anyway, as you can tell, I'm not that old and yet, changes....already affecting my brain mechanisms.
