Why are some people dumb as a rock??

Ive been waiting all day for my Pegasys delivery. Usually  here at my house by 1:00 the latest and I have to sign for it.
At 2:00 my  radar went off and I called Pegasys. Make a long stuipid story short the Fed-Ex guy delivered my injections to a business 2 miles away and the receptionist there signed for it.

I always make sure I have extra. I told them I would not accept this package and to send me another one.
Luckily I have two syringes left.

In FLorida we get so many power outages I usually always have at least 3 syringes in the fridge and dont like to keep any more than that.

A lesson tobe learned- ALWAYS HAVE EXTRA!

Yea - they're pretty cool (get it? cool? ahr ahr) Gez I'm dingy tonight. But I actually wear mine out from use. Boy do they come in handy at the ranch - just loaned out one tonight...a friend fell off her horse and needed to tuck one in her bum.

I'm like you in the can't wait part...I'm just glad that 4c has a little xtra in case i get in a bind. :-)

Cuz no back log here.

Hope your feeling better 4c - TTYS

I couldn't wait to start. There is no way I could have stashed those shots for a few weeks! I was driven. I had to start. I'm not sure how many hours passed before I took my first shot, but it wasn't many! lol  Waiting is the hardest part...sorta. lol

Those ice packs are the best. I just wish I could use them on my back or head sometimes. They are a bit thick for that!  But you can use them over and over. Love em'.

No kidding about the ice paks - I've been getting them for 4 yrs with my enbrel and have managed to use them all. I carry an ice bag w/me to the ranch every night. Now I will have double...my first peg should be here this week...getting a little nervous here.

Actually I'm very anxious to get the show on the road.

I still have all those ice packs from the meds!  Aren't they great?  I took 2 to Jamacia and gave them and the container to a Jamacian. She was thrilled. Those ice packs last for about 24 hours. I always was thrilled to see them come. Hey, I guess we need to get thrilled about something on tx, no?

I keep the ice packs which the meds come in and keep in freezer. If I get outage place the ice on the pegasys and throw it in the cooler I guess.

We lose power all the time even last night power went out for an hour.

Ginger-Thats all I can think of..........

When I saw the heading I started to think of all those that I believe are as dumb as a rock...the list was too long, so I decided I better read the thread! LOL  Yep, I would say that makes two dumb as rocks people in your post! I never had that problem, I never had to sign either. It is a good lesson too!  I started tx the day I got the drugs, I just couldn't wait to feel like sh!t! Ahhhhh, the good ol' days. I would have been a nervous wreak if my meds hadn't shown up, as I never had more than one extra....good lesson for those starting tx. Hang on to that package for a week or two so you can build up a stash!

Extra meds are good, but does anyone have a suggestion on what to do with your pegasys if the power goes out ?!  How would one keep it cold?

SMART everyone should take the advice. I would have been totally screwed if I hadn't built up a few extras - it's just too important not to do so.
