Foods that make you "urpy".... and those that don't?

Hello,  Been wondering about this since I started tx 8 weeks ago. I'm in a study where I take 240 mg of PI once a day with 400 mg. riba in the morning. On some days, the morning pills were really making me nauseous, sometimes vomiting. So, I tried to note if somehow what I was eating was affecting the urpiness. My doc recommended Prilosec, which helped, but the warning on the box said to only take one 14 day course of tx every 4 months, so weaned off of that stuff.

I've been doing pretty well. I had to stop all fruit in the morning (which really makes me sad). My SOB (standard of breakfast) has become an egg, ham, and cheddar wheat muffin, with lots of mayo. Some mornings a big bowl of granola with full fat Greek yogurt and coconut milk. So far, so good - it stays down!

Had a 1 egg ham and cheese omelette the other day, and the fried onion and garlic about killed me - back to Urp City!

Anybody else been watching their reactions to certain foods? What strikes me as strange is that the 600 mg of riba I take at night, after dinner, hasn't really bothered me at all, no matter what I've eaten...

Best to you all!

I take the riba 10 or 15 minutes after eating, but it takes longer to get the big PI study pills down. Knowing that they will probably make me gag, or worse, makes it really hard for me to work up to swallowing them.

Is your stomach reacting to the riba?

I noticed that I'm way more sensitive to spicy foods too. My cinnamon gum is too hot now, also chunks of candied ginger are almost unbearable. Weird sx.

Best to everyone!

Are you taking the riba immediately after you eat? That's what I do.
My nurse said to take riba with a substantial meal.
I'm not on triple therapy, doing SOC.

I have found a change in my reaction to certain foods. Spicy food that I usually love, irritates my tongue.
Onions in quantity  bother me.
However, I eat tons of garlic, no problems.

Listen to your body, eat what works.
