$18 an answer

I unblocked Firefox Ad Blocker and that 24/7 Ask a Doctor is the first thing I see on every page on here.

It has advertisement written under it but it seems more than an ad. It goes to a site called Health Care Magic *******.

From the Washington Post

InteractiveMD and HealthcareMagic offer subscriptions for access to their services. InteractiveMD charges $10 per month (with a $15 enrollment fee) for unlimited questions, but the magazine found that it provided little guidance. (“In young women, memory and forgetfulness is often a function of how busy you are!” was one reassuring but not particularly useful reply, the magazine said.) HealthcareMagic costs $18 per question or $15 a month for unlimited questions.

While the site received kudos for its prompt response time, the magazine found that its answers were too broad to be helpful.

I know that thread was funny.  You have to laugh at some of this stuff.  Or at least remember you still can laugh.    I ate so much junk food with the 20 grams of fat ( Incivek requirement).  It's a wonder my right arm didn't turn into
a chocolate cupcake.   Whom ever thought 20 grams of fat was a good idea
should have included some healthy choices.  Not just turn us loose to eat whatever which included finding what is 20 grams of fat and then eating it 3 times a day.   Then you actually had to get to the grocery store.   That was a whole day of planning how you were exactly going to accomplish this journey into the unknown... going out your front door.   Final just had my friend bring me stuff.  I remember talking to my friend tell her that "Little Deb" cupcakes
are not food.   Then I started drinking olive oil.   Omg...who thought of the requirements for that treatment. : )

Hi I remember that thread, it was so funny we all wrote down silly things we did while on tx.  I was thinking of that the other day.
I did a lot of dumb things.  I brushed my teeth with bengay argh,  sprayed cortisone in my mouth instead of benadryl spray.

This social side needs to lighten up.  Remember that women who wrote about her treatment experience back in the Incivek day.   She was a great writer and it was really funny.  If anyone could find that and provide a link.
I know I would love to read it again.  That was so funny about things you sure weren't finding to funny when it happened.  But after the fact ...we could see the humor.

I ate so many Costco covered almonds with Incivek doses.... I now gage every time I pass them when I shop there.  Yuk :)

That is interesting to know.
I have missed the professionals on here where you could ask a question.  There was at one point a place here where you could ask medical questions. After I relapsed I asked Dr Dietrich a question, paid $25 and he was very helpful.
I also miss the pathology interpretation.

I have been told that they closed all for review.

I am glad I have the ads blocked, what a mess that could be :)

DWBH, your sign reminds me of Lucy fro Charlie Brown :)

Ha very funny.
Being bored and on line late at night I read tons of favorable reviews on two different review sites. There were so many positives it made me uneasy.

Then I realized that most of us on here have an above average knowledge of how to research a medical condition/complaint thanks to the difficulty in treating Hepatitis C (back in the day, that is).

On the other hand there were LOTS of reviews that commented

1) It is not entirely clear that you are signing up for a $15 monthly subscription. In other words, you have to read the fine print to avoid this. A lot of people apparently do not.

2) You could pretty much get the same results from Wiki.
