Cortisone

Cortisone

This way be way out there, but here goes...

Do you think that Coritsone or  Steriods could also be a treatment for HepC.

Don't these drugs speed up the system and generate new blood flow?

Yes, steroids (specifically Prednisone) is the usual treatment for occult/autoimmune hepatitis, but I don't think it's used for regular Hep.

I have a friend who achieved SVR on tx and because she also had lupus her doctor prescribed  Prednisone AND THAT BROUGHT THE VIRUS BACK.  She had to go through treatment again. I don't think she will take Prednisone again.
