Thanksgiving was truly thankful for me this year. It is good to be alive, and hopefully hang around long enough to enjoy grandchildren! I was prepared to knit and crochet for my future grandchildren just in case I wasn't successful with Tx, but I was. Counting my blessings. It was a miracle. Thank you Gilead!
Performing for a bunch of hungry people today, gobbling great food. Gobbling? Isn't that turkey talk?
At any rate, Happy Thanksgiving my friends. I for one have a lot to be thankful for. All I can say is... It's good to be alive...

Busy baking pies and reflection on how much better I feel this year than last year. When I started this treatment journey I didn't have a clue what I was doing. So many people, including the top answers on this forum started with little to no knowledge. It truly is a lesson in being your own advocate in healthcare. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have found the tools to do just that. I was able to grasp much needed information that at times when the treatment drugs made that difficult. It was a crazed experience.
I now believe that time does heal the post treatment health issues. The most important to me is my ability to be quick minded and my short term memory. It does come back. It does take time.
Thank You to all those who I may not have thank for thier contribution to my successful treatment of Hepatitis C. You know who are. You will never be forgotten for helping so many people on this forum. Back to the pies.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
