Hep C Veterans

Any Veterans out there who have won any type of case against the government on contracting Hep C from airjet guns or oral surgery?  I am Vietnam era vet (of course did not see combat as women were not allowed at that time).  I am putting in a claim against the government and would like to know if others have done the same.  Any takers?

I haven't heard of any one winning a claim against the gov't. I too served in the military, 74-78. I retrieved my records, but a lot is missing. I think it's a dead end as far as I'm concerned.
I encourage you to go for it if you think you have a case, but from all I've heard, the gov. will not accept any responsibility for the transmission of hep c.

For those who received transfusons before '92...(this is 2nd hand info) I heard that a number of recipients filed a suit in NY...the suit went to the Supreme Court and lost.
Though, I understand in Canada..those who received tainted blood from the United States (during Clinton Admin) are receiveing free tx gratis the US.
I hope we hear better news from others.
