thanks again for the response, i will be back.
If you write in all caps it's like you are yelling. Easier to read in lowercase letters.
Welcome to this website. The unknown is always scarey or at least uncertain. Do you best, the results are not in our hands.
Ask about temporary disability at your personnel or human resources dept. or your union. Hep. C is only a temporary problem. As you progress in your treatment your cognitive abilities might be challenged so try to find out this stuff now so you will be prepared. I worked 33 weeks of tx at a desk job. I'm 65. Then I retired. Wish I had done the temporary disability instead. But such is life.
I know the feeling of being anxious, it is normal and I am sure everyone here experienced this before tx'ing. However, Do this one day at a time.. You got your biopsy, GOOD!! You have a start date, GOOD!! As far as work is concerned, do what you can do... The most important thing right now is getting your health back!! There are laws that will protect you as far as insurance goes. Hopefully some one wil come along and give you info as far as your rights are. Worse case scenerio, you lose your job and insurance but the drug companies hve programs that provide you your drugs for free..
What did your biopsy read?? Do you know your genotype? How long will you be treating for?
What kind of job do you have?
Good luck to you, and stick around! There are alot of very knowlegable people here and a wealth of information..
