Boceprevir Pill Dose Mix-up.
I had jus taken my 3pm dose of Boceprevir and decided to go for a long walk,at 7pm imy pill popping time arrived and i popped 4 morre Boceprevir when i should have done the Riba...i realizes an 1/2 later that it was suppose to be the Riba .so at least i didn miss my Riba...so the BOC was 4 hours apart instead of 8 hours...im wondering now if i should dp my 11 pm as sceduled ..i guess i have to or i will miss a dose...so anyway i slice this.im gonna be doing and tra dose of BOC....maybe ill do the 11 pm at say 1 pm...just to space it out....thisis not good as ive read that missing doses and double dosing may cause mutations...damn....its almost impossible to be perfect taking theses drugs...anyone do this before...problen is im taking too many different pills at different times...full time job it is...oh well,at least its better than missing a dose ,hopefully
i meant to say 1am...not 1 pm..all this drug taking is getting to me now...im just feed up with trying to maintain the scedule
When I messed up with my Telaprevir I just spaced the next dose out, and the dose after that also. Made sense to me and I didn't have any problems.
Yeah I know what you mean too many pills to keep track off. I'm feed up too. I always have my cell phone with me after my slip up, and set the alarm to go off every time I need to take pills. I have not messed up since.
Its my last week of Telaprevir so just Riba next week Thank God. I thought you only did boce for 12 weeks?

Depending what arm in...ill find out at wk 36...i could stop at wk 36 or go on to wk 48...im at 22 now
In keeping up with your posts, I think you said that you were released from your job. Therefore "taking too many different pills at different times...full time job it is" IS your full time job now. You should find a process to make sure you excel at it. Also recall that this is not your first dosing faux pas. Need to pull it together, pal.
Yes,i totally agree...im so busy worrying and looking for work and stuff...mu scedule has changed from when i was working...i was getting lazt setting my alarms too....i will not screw up anymore....i may have only 22/36 left to do...if im in are one...arm 3 is 48 weeks ....double dosing can be as bad as missing doses....especially with the PI drugs....ive read mutation is possible ,but this was with the PI drugs for HIV patients....but who knows,,,maybe true with the HVC PI drugs
