Taking medication

If you have a minute, could you answer a few questions about taking medications?  This is both for personal curiosity and an assignment I have in a grad course I'm taking.  Please indicate whether you are talking about pills, injections, or both.

A. Please rank the easiest parts of taking a dosage of medication

B. Please rank the most difficult parts of taking a dosage of medication

C. Picture yourself taking a dosage right now - walk me through what you do

Thanks in advance!

I didn't realize boceprevir had to be taken in such volume and several times a day.  Now I understand what you meant by slave to the pill.  Does the boceprevir have to be taken with fat or food too like the riba?

So I assume that remembering to take the pills at the right times is the most difficult thing for you with regard to taking meds...?

That's too many times and pills to use one of those plastic pill boxes.  Do you do anything to help you remember to take the pills?  I saw in another thread someone suggested using the alarm function on a cell phone.  Some other people use all types of alarms to remember to take pills and supplements.

You have to take pill at 5 different times during the day?  Could you explain?  I only take my riba in the morning and evening.

Taking the medication is pretty easy to me anyways - needles don't bother me - so giving myself an injection has never been a problem.  the only real issue I have is that sometimetimes it is hard to take the pills cuz I was told to take them with food and sometimtes I just don't want to eat or nothing sounds good - so I have to force myself to eat.

OK, trying again.

Could you please just post the most difficult part of the process of taking medication?

Not talking about sx here, just the process.

Is it remembering the pills, getting the cap off the needle, something else?

If we all share, we can help each other with solutions.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Hoping to keep it simple and not time consuming. Let's say for questions A and B rank them 1 to 3, with 1 being the most and 3 being the least.

I'd rather not offer examples, because I don't want to lead answers (I know that will happen anyway if more than a couple people provide answers).

Please elaborate on your criteria.  What are your ranking levels?  1 to 5 with 5 being most complicated?  1 to 3?  I think we need a list of "difficult parts" to rank them in Question B.
