4 week post PCR results

Thanks for asking, FLGuy.  It's all good.  Sorry it took me so long to post.  Like someone else here said, the whole Dr. appointment was anticlimatic.  The 4 week PCR was undetectable (Heptimax) and he said to come back at 6 months (March 2008), and then every six months for 2 years.

My hgb is up to 11.2...YAY!   My ALT and AST are 10 and 12.  I've gained 10 pounds (had lost 30),  so I guess it's time to stop buying the Ben and Jerry's. :(

I thought I would have more energy than I do, I guess I thought that the fatigue I've had for years was caused by the HepC.  Maybe not.

Next medical problem I have to attack is my back.  I go for a spinal epidural on Wednesday. (GI doc OK'd it)   I'm petrified.  Someone please tell me they've had one and it didn't hurt.

How do you like my heartfelt message above this one? :)
I'm so happy to hear about your 4 week being negative. It's the only time when being negative is a good thing!
How's your grandbaby? Did she enjoy Halloween?
Isn't it great that we are both not treating anymore? I recovered quickly becuase I didn't treat as long as you...you will get that energy back eventually, be patient.
It's like when you have a cold--forever--and you don't even realize you're getting better because it's so slow and you are so used to being run down. Then, finally you realize that you can breathe again and you aren't using kleenex as much...except in this case, you realize that you are sleeping better and feeling better and your brain is working like it use to.
Anyways, that's what's suppose to happen!
Hugs,
Bug

It's good to hear.  I guess we are both accounting for a little less virus in our part of the world.  Looking forward to more nice weather around here to step up the physical activity even more.  I think building up endurance helps the tx recovery some.  Congratulations.  I was in the Ben and Jerry's parking lot this AM but didn't stop in this time.
