Shot #2 last night

I actually slept last night!!   Hurray!
So far, I feel I can tell the meds are in me ( feel like I'm on the verge of trying to come down with a cold, type of feeling) otherwise, I am fine.
My question right now is.... My first 'pee' of the morning is SO dark. Almost brown. I am drinking my fluids. I've always been a HUGE H2O drinker, even more so while tx. The meds seem to make me very thirsty. Is this a norm w/ some? The dark urine?

Glad to hear you are doing well. The dark urine I didn't have when I tx, probably nothing, but I would mention it to your doc anyhow cause he should be able to tell you why this happens.

I know you must feel relieved that you are finding the tx doable. Before tx started I found that to be the hardest - the unknown - how was I going to feel. But I only felt the flu like symptoms the first night and then bad bone pain for a few weeks and the rest was easy.

Wish you the best!

Don't you know it...I know that having only a 24 week sentence may seem like I had an easy road, but its just as rocky as a 48 or 72 week road...just shorter.

I just know that I am going to be a better man for all of this.

Anon: Man, you're nearly there! I bet you can smell SVR at this point. And, you probably have about a 75%+ chance of SVR. Hang in there.

Irish: I have found that I am almost always nearly incapacitated the day after my shot. Early on, I was OK the first day, but would get much worse the second day (after shot). Now, it's about the same each time: Take the shot Fri night, got to sleep (to bed at least), get up Sunday afternoon feeling like I am going to live. I'm clsoing in on 30/72.

For you, Here's to being UND at 12 weeks!

So glad you only have to do 24 wks.since you're feeling bad. I have shot 2/48 or 72 (depending) so I am thankful as I can be that I'm ok, so far.
I'll say something to the NP on Wed.about the urine color. It does dissipate by the second time I go in the morning. It makes me feel like my liver is being emptied out while I sleep. Duuno.

That first shot is always the worst.  The cold and flu-like feeling is going to be with you throughout your treatments most likely - they have been with me.  I feel as though I have had the flueu for the last 10 weeks..but alas, my pee is fine...lol.  I have read where it can appear darker than normal, but it never happened to me..at least not that I can see...afterall, every morning for me was a day after a drunk from the night before so my pee was always darker than most.

My biggest issue, as is the case today, a hungover feeling the day after my shot  complete with headache and a general tiredness about me.  I did shot number 16 of 24 last night and no matter how many times I do this, I am ALWAYS surpised that no matter how I prepare by taking on lots and lots of water, I am giong to feel like **** the next day..and if by any chance, I don't, I can expect some odd side whacking me up side the head sometime during the week.

I sincerely wonder at times what it feels like to feel good.  (I sure am thinking positive today, huh?)

No problem with the pee color, but I seem to be always thirsty too. Since I am not diabetic, I accept this as a side effect.

Interesting...  I have the same issue with my urine in the morning.  Seems as though as the day goes on and I get loaded up with water this resolves.  Thirst seems to be a common complaint on tx.  I keep a huge mug of water next to my bed at night and everytime I wake up I take a swig.
