Hi everyone.

Just a quick post from Indonesia. I am almost 12 weeks post EOT and am doing quite well. Just wanted to let you all know that there is hope at the end of the tunnel.

Am having a blast here, it is good to get away. It really helps with not thinking about hep C every day, as this illness takes over such a huge part of our lives. Changing 'scenery' has been really relaxing.

I wish you all the best at whatever stage of pre tx, tx or post tx you are and of course also to all care takers and family members.

Lots of love to everyone, I think of you guys very often.

Thanks all of you beautiful people.

Am in Pamulang, which is kind of South Jakarta. We have been chillaxing at home most of the time. Took a trip to 'Little Tiger Island', a little island off North Jakarta situated in what is called the thousand islands. Great snorkeling, no sharks :-)  Unfortunately I don't scuba dive, don't have a certificate. Tried it when I was younger, as my friends dad was a professional diver and the whole family was diving like fish.

Will go up to the mountains this week and have a walk in the forest up to a waterfall. I'll be posting some pics on my profile when I get home to DK.

We have been stuffing ourselves with mango, papaya, soursop, durian, star fruit, passion fruit, guava and other fruit. I'm a total fruit freak or maybe a fruit cake too. LOL.  Unfortunately it is not rambutan season, but there is plenty of other fruit.

We are going home to DK on the 29th, but I wish I could stay longer. Having to do repairs on the house since I haven't been here for 2 years... I might extend my stay, if I don't get everything sorted out in time. At least I got the internet up and working, so I don't have to run into the other end of the garden trying to get a free connection from the hot spot across the lake.

Indonesia is a big place. Where are you?
I've visited the main islands of Sumatra, Java and Bali.
I loved the ruins of Prambanan in Java, Samosir island in Northern Sumatera with the gregarious Batak people,the ceremonies in Bali, and wanted very much to go to Sulawesi for the snorklking.
I had the best pineapple ever there and those fabulous rambutans~yum.

Its good to know you are feeling great,i am getting close to mt EOT alsojust did shot 33,,,i have 3 shots left to do if im in the 36 week arm,if not ill be going for the 48 weeks,so any way i look at it,im pretty close,im keeping busy trying to prepare for a college course,its either gonna be CNC machine programming of the HVAC building system tech....i have my doubts i will be able to handle all the schooling ,dont forget im not popping candys here shooting ducks...i feel as tho i have to give it a try anyway and its keeping my mind of the bad thoughts...its kinda fun too...but sitting down at the desk is what kills me....id rather be moving around...its s great oppertunity if i can pass the preteset to get in...they will extend my employment insurance for another year for a total of 104 weeks...and even after the course they will another 4-6 months extension to look for a job...and they will pay for all the costs,books,trans..accomidation too if needed...what im afraid of is i wont be able to do iy becaus eof the TX..well the course dont start untill sept so i have a 2 1/2 months to get ready and upgade ...im face and eyes into the GED book....

do you suba dive where you are?....one thing ive always wanted to do..go face to face with a shark whale
