oh my gosh, your in Texas? I was just there, that long trip i took...Texas is a very long place to drive through. i remember thinking if i never see another "caution ice on bridge" sign it will be too soon.
I think i saw about 75 deer, 10 coyote, 3 skunks and two speed bumps in the road.
i remember you saying you were driving to corpus christi, but didn't know where you driving from...
i was visiting east of san antonio. that was my first time in that area.
are you a lifelong resident of Texas? How do you like that area?
I think reaching back to scratch has made the skin raw on my back. That's quite a leap for me to go from irritated skin to lichen planus! I'm so dramatic. I bought benadryl at the drugstore and decided to try one thing at a time so I know what works. Maybe the heat and humidity here in Texas is making my symptoms worse. I'm going to ask my P.A. on Tuesday, I think I'll live till then in spite of the fact that I've "bugged" everyone all day about this!
Thanks,
Bug
I get something on my back, can't see it. i know it is little spots cause sometimes i want to reach back and mess with them, doesn't itch all the time. hot baths can aggravate.
from reading posts before i began tx. i purchased gold bond triple threat powder. i hated the smell, when i got it home i wanted to bring it back. my kids opened it so i kept. when the itching came one night after a bath, i used it. almost instant relief. i don't know what it is the zinc? that is calming. still don't like the smell. its like menthol.
course if you are having really serious problems might need to see a dermatologist about it.
Thanks, you have really helped. Hearing others input makes a lot of difference. Your husband's symptoms sounds like me! I'm encouraged that there is a tx that will work. I feel much better, thanks again.

Interesting thread as usual, but I'll leave it alone!
Bug - Just wanted to comment on the itchy's. Hubby has rashes, started almost immediately when he started tx, poor guy its really his only sx, but drives him crazy. Anyway he dealt with it for a while but we finally got him into the dermatologist and thank god not a moment to soon. Dont remember what they called it but said it was an allergic reaction to the meds, but could be controlled.
They gave him Traimcinolone ointment, told him to use Eucerin Calming
"anti Itch" lotion and then gave him Hydoxyzine to help calm the itch at night (when its seems to be the worst). And it really has helped alot.
Still has the issues and dr said he will probably have this all through tx,
but at least he has some help now.
Don't wait to long, you will suffer unnecessarily.
I follow you Bug. And I do like Myown despite how it probably appears. Yeah, I know, with friends like me who needs enemies? But really, I think her heart is good - she just goes overboard on occasion. Good luck with your rash. Mike
