Yes, specific tests as ordered by the doc.  However, additional tests could be run from the sample blood vial, depending on how the blood needs to be prepared to run the test.  If not, the person drawing the blood would obtain multiple vials from you.

I have have hepatitis C.  For as long as I've had it there have been no lip/tongue/tonsil symptoms that I recall, nor do I recall reading that those things are a sign or a sympton of hep-c.  Have you seen a doctor and told him fully about your concerns?

i had oral sex with a woman .....she gave me and i gave her without condom.......... she got tested for hiv came out negative .......
my fears is now hepitatis ........

its been a month since the incident and i dont have any syptoms what so ever .......

and all i can see is some little balls on my tongue no colour ......on the right and left side of tongue .....
and i dont know if its my fear and my mind is playing tricks and my tongue was alwasy like this or it just happened ...........


when can i go and get tested for hepitatis .......do i have to wait 3 months????

Call the doctor and get a test. Simple as that. Get one for

1. HIV
2. HepC
3. HepB
4. HepA
5. Chlamydia
6. Gonnorhea
7. Syphillis
8. Herpes
9. Veneral Warts
10. Crabs
11. Worms


Just to start.  There are many other disease that you would get before hep - but while you are having one needle stuck in your arm...you might as well have a few of them done too.

Those are some of the tests that you will need to have since you didn't bother to use a condom.  There are many more you could have aquired but I just can't remember their names since it doesn't really have anything to do with my life.

But all of those diseases / conditions listed above are more likely than you getting hep.

Maybe you now have herpes on your tongue?  That's what I think it is.  That's a shame because unlike HepC which has a cure...herpes does not.

no, hiv tests usually are for  span of 5 years, specific tests for specific viruses or disease.

PS a math test won't tell you if you did well in english so YES you need ALL of those tests done.  An Hiv test won't tell you if you have the clap.

Most likely - you're safe.

However - 60-90 days seems to be the incubation period for most diseases.

If I were you - I'd just chill - and practice safe sex --- or get monogamous.

I think you need to take a chill pill..

You're panicking about something too much - and that alone can cause more damage than most diseases.

I think that you will have an accurate test --- but you could ask the doc for the time frame ---- and request to be tested again in that time frame. OK?

But seriously the amount of worry that you have is quite exceeding the circumstances.

It will be a good lesson for you to practice safe sex... And to feel comfortable with the person you choose to have sex with.

Anyone can have a disease - no matter how wealthy, innocent, wild - multiple partners or never having had sex... Whether they do drugs - live in the slums or in the richest home... There is no distinction between race, class, sex or social standing.

So be careful from now on ---- and take care - and responsibility for your actions.

Now --- about the anxiety issues you seem to be having.

That is more worrisome than if you've picked up something from your actions.
