opps.my typing didn't keep pace with my mental list....
I thank God for all the docs, and researchers, and drug companies, who do take this disease seriously and are trying to help cure it.
can't leave that one out.
Your post brings it all into perspective...thank you
I'm thankful that I woke up this morning - many people went to bed and thought they would see today and they didn't.
I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, and food on my table.
I'm thankful I have a husband who is the kindest soul I have ever met.
I'm thankful that though my mother has cancer she is still with me and doing fairly well.
I'm thankful that though I relapsed, I most likely don't have much liver damage (bx pending)
I am thankful to have been born in America
But most of all I am thankful that I know that I have a loving God who cares very much for me and even at times when fears and loneliness surround me - He is there - even when I don't feel Him, even when my heart is aching, even when my friends or family may forsake me - He is there. He will never turn His back, He will always hear my cry, He will never judge me, He will always be faithful -even when I am not,, and for this I am most thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
thanks Dorthy, and Myown, here here!!!!!!
I am actually thankful for having been diagnosed this year with AIH. I would never have "met" the wonderful people that are on this board/forum. We don't always understand why things happen as they do until we can see "where we came from" and the things/people the Lord has put us in touch with that otherwise would not have been.
Praise the Lord for His goodness, even if we don't feel like it at the time.
MerryBe - you are so "right on" -:)
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody
thanks to all of you....
I got a great present yesterday.
My family member is pushing a bill through the Oregon congress to make insurance test routinely for Hep-C.
this will mean folks will get diagnosed quicker, docs cannot ignore anymore, and insurances will have to pay for the cures now available, before the viruses have time to get any more resitant.
Now that there is help, folks need to be diagnosed and saved.
Boy on more thing to give thanks for!!!!!!!!!
