Tingling in Feet

I am experiencing tingling, numbness, and cold in my feet. I am in treatment for a second time (Week 10 of 48) and had a break of 5 months between treatments so I am having a cumilative affect of the two treatments.

Has anyone experienced this tingling in the feet? It sometimes causes me to be unsteady while standing or walking.

Does anyone have experience with how to improve one's circulation? I would imagine this might be the result of low blood counts and the anemia caused by it.

Thanks for your help. This new side-effect of tingling feet has me worried.

Everything you can freaking imagine...

You feel like Frankenstein.

Mostly neural pathways - they check all your MRI and touch you in funny places and make you move --- test your sensitivity.

Heck I don't even remember the stuff they've done over the years to rule out everything else.

LOL - I feel like a pin cushion.

What kinds of tests do they run for neuropathy?

Has anyone experienced this tingling in the feet?
------------------------------------------
Yes, I have. As Meki suggested check for Neuropathy and Cryo.
My feet don't tingle anymore lately. But my hands do and my
fingers (thumbs) get numb in the frozen food section of the
supermarket. Sounds stupid, but its true - as soon as I stick
my hand in the frozen section - my thumbs go numb, but my other
fingers are fine and dandy.

I had my Raynaud's get worse on tx around week 8.  Told the doc and he said it was anemia.  He called the lab and sure enough my hgb was at 10.3.  We started Procrit that weekend.  Still on Procrit with 3 more shots to complete my 48.
If it is anemia the Procrit will help-
Feel better...

Thanks, Meki. I will see my doctor later today and bring up this tingling in my feet. I have also had leg cramps at times during treatment but these don't seem to be in the same category as the tingling feet which does sound like a neuropathy problem.

Between my first treatment and the current one, this INTF/RIB combination has taken a toll on my body.

I continue to take a day at a time and am hopeful.

Check with neuropathy or Cryoglobulinemia.

Have your doctor run tests to check for both.

I started with pains, numbness, tingling in my feet --- and FOOT cramps you wouldn't believe.

Then it moved to all over the body - diagnosed with neuropathy.

Also check your anemia levels --- and make sure you stay on top of them

Remember to discuss this with your doctor --- ANY NEW side effect can be a problem.
