Kara's gotta Go

It's time for some serious talk here. As some of you may know, I've been following American Idol the past few seasons. In fact shot night and American Idol night were the same for the year I treated.

Yes, the judging is then a bit of a joke, and even bigger joke with Paula. That said, Paula has never looked so good now that this new judge Kara has entered the fray.

First, she went up against bikini girl and she obviously missed the point. she tried out sing bikini girl-- which she didn't by the  way-- but the only contest that mattered was who would look better in a bikini, and I don't think you have to be Simon to know that bikini girl would win hands down.

That was bad enough but last night was really over the top. I never took the judges that seriously, and part of the charm of the show was that  I think they really didn't  take themselves that seriously. Until last night when Kara took things way too seriously. I mean let's face it, say what you wan,t but Simon is the boss. It's his show and he made it what it is.

When I first heard that Kara joined the show,  I thought great this is how they're going to phase out Paula. Now I just hope that it's not too long before they phase out Kara.

I know from the last thread, that we have some Kara here. Hopefully, they change their mind, or this could start getting really ugly :)

yes, Charlie and Kate (the actors who play them) are an item, or at least they were at one time. And you were thinking that Jack and Sawyer are lucky ones LOL

Wanted to clarify on Lost there was no mention of Charlie with HCV on Lost I had made an assumption since he was an IV drug user - so...... that's pretty much a given.

But, Jim - are you serious about Charlie and Kate???

Regarding Idol - I really liked the Utah contestants - they were not as colorful as New York & San Francisco but they seem to be a great bunch of people in a beautiful state.  And, Jim, Kara's not so bad - she compliments Paula who actually seems to be her own person this season.

Hello to all, while I don't watch any of the shows, interfered with all the sleeping :)  thank you for much for the funniest thread I have seen since joining.  I agree it is nice to think about something else beside my HCV status

I don't know about Kara, but I thought AI was pretty funny last night.  The part where they were all sitting on each other's laps was hysterical.  

I don't watch 24 or Lost, so I can't comment on either one of those shows.

I did like the young African American girl that got a ticket to Hollywood.  I think she might just end up in the top 10..., time will tell.

The character, "Sawyer" arguably has riba rage but none of the characters have HCV. Charlie is now dead but I believe is "Kate's" (or was) boyfriend in real life.

you all know that Charlie, of course, is the one on Lost that has HCV but if he stays on the island he will be cured without tx.  I taped IDOL to run thru the commercials, need to catch up on the last 2 shows.

OK Kara is like the virus. Do we Watch n' Wait or eradicate now? Regardless of my previous "Watch n' Wait" stance, I say eradicate now. We've already had a biopsy in the form of two episodes and she is obviously doing significant damage -- case in point, she voted against Bikini Girl.

Good new show last night, about liars, guy can read people expression, was ok, was expecting to not like it!  

On fringe i think they all have HCV<!
