is there a way to get disability if you have hepatitus C?
I tried twice and I couldn't get it. You have to meet their criteria, they have it all on their website. You have to have cancer, or ascites or cirrhosis, etc.
From those that I know who applied, the only one who qualified had liver cancer as well.
Unless you have proven debilitating symptoms from HCV, it is unlikely. Even then it will be a challenge and OH is right, expect to be refused the first time.

Possibly but you'll need a letter from your doctor and expect to be denied the first time around. Some here have gotten it but it wasn't easy.
