I'm sorry I never meant to imply that I've heard 100% cure rate from you or on this board.
I don:t believe I ever read anyone here ,,certainly not myself ,say you had a 100% chance of success by treating for 48 weeks.
My post above was only to point out a misinterpretation.
The amount of time you treat is obvoiusly a personal one that should be discussed at length with your doctor.
Everyone must weigh chance of success with adverse effects caused by duration of tx. drugs ,especially those with advanced fibrosis.
I understand Stream this is a tough descision for you and I only wish you a successful outcome.

I may be miss reading a lot but it seems to me all good news coming out of the aasld meeting that hasn't reached this forum yet. I'm wondering where does it say I have a 100% chance of curing in 48 weeks. Now that I think about it people say it but I haven't seen it in any stats.........and is the 10% worth the risk of the damage the drugs may do. All info to continue looking for
Stream .. I believe you are interpreting this incorrectly . The 79 % was overall SVR..
It says "is more effective than std. tx. in all G types including those with advanced liver disease such as cirrhosis. Then a period ...then "the addition of tela cleared as many as 79% .
It is the stats from the "advance and "illuminate trials.
The difference was 67 % for 24 weeks and 92 % for 48 weeks...however as has been stated before ..a very small number of chirrotic participants
Hope all is well.....

Among subjects with cirrhosis, 30 (49%) achieved an eRVR: 18 were randomized to T12/PR24 and 12 to T12/PR48. The SVR rates were 67% (12/18) for the T12/PR24 group and 92% (11/12) for the T12/PR48 group.
