Good morning, I have started my next go around of tx. this time I am on infergen shots daily w/ribbro 5 times daily. Have any of you tried infergen and what were your side affects?  Or do you have any addvice feeling really tired,have the flu like headache behind my eyes but so far this is easier than the inerferon was now I am keeping my fingers crosses, Hi to you jmjm glad to see a friendly name on board.

I am week 26 Inf/riba. Daily Inf shot. My GI said pick my worst day from 1tx and that will be everyday. He aint kiddin.
My wife gives me my hit every night. I told her just the other day that I feel like pin cushion being pricked w/ needles all the time.
Later that evening she came to me w/ her shotgun in 1 hand and her alcohol pad in the other and said "O K Needleprick, where do u want it." needleprick..NEEDLEPRICK?
Shes never called me THAT before. My advise to u my friend is DO IT. U did it w/ peg/riba before. U can do daily dose Inf also

Sorry to hear it is being rough on you. I hope it eases up soon. How much of a dosage of Infergen do you take a day? How much Riba? Let's hope in time you will adjust to it and feel better.

Thank you for all your responses, infergen is alittle rough now that it has had a week to get into my system. I take the riba twice daily now taking one tablet five times a day sucked. I have the flu like symptoms of course the headache and low grade fever that makes me feel like ****.
If you all have any ideas how to make this any easier please let me know, the shots daily compared to once weekly have me going down fast.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that my husband, Giddyup did 48 weeks of daily infergen and riba. he was on a trial that did not allow "helper" drugs.(blood growth stuff like procrit), and he made it all the way through..you can too! best of luck!! Su

I can't imagine Riba 5x a day? I did daily infergen and have posted on several infergen posts. I found it much more difficult, with many lasting side effects. But, every case is different. Check under the archives and if you cannot find what you are looking for, re-post and I will answer the best to my knowledge. I wish you success!

I don't know about the infergen, but taking riba 5 times daily strikes me as odd. It's best to take it with meals and 5x daily would make that hard...maybe....
