GOLD BOND MEDICATED TRIPLE THREAT ANTI ITCH LOTION (Green bottle, red cap) has helped more of us in here than anything else - and believe me, I've had the rash and nothing else worked for me.

you have to remember to do it SEVERAL times a day - once the rash abates in just a few days don't stop either or it will come back.

I also used hydrocortizone .1 on the spots that were killing me before the gold bond had a chance to kick in.  Staying out of really hot baths and showers and anything that can dry your skin is a good idea. The hydration of the lotions really seems to help and the thing about the gold bond is it is nice and thick.

For Christmas my daughter gave me a basket just FULL of lotions and creams and oatmeal baths because my itch had taken over my life...I found the gold bond in there and it saved me!!!!!!!

Good luck.

have been doing all of above...no relief
this is the actual nerve endings flaring..have you heard of anyone else doing this?  I was treating for allergies not knowing it was the hep coming awake. Also have the severe sore calf muscles, wake up all night.night sweats, and diabetic. The symptoms have been coming on for several months but was dumbfounded when I realized it was  the hep. Also recently been put on thyroid meds as mine seems to have quit. Was diagnosed in "96 but had been given blood in "73..had a bout with hep soon after but they did'nt know what kind at that time, just said I had a liver and spleen infection. Right before  finding this I had become a drug user so they  swear it was from the drug use, I know better, the drugs just made it worse.

Oatmeal baths HORRID to clean up --- but work amazingly well for my family... Olive oil after towel buffing...

(You can squirt a perfume spray in it - if ya like to smell different.)

Drink lots of water....

Some of the folks use gold bond....

And calamine lotion.

Good luck!
