live in new orleans, iam also a rn. we need nurses in a very bad way. high today 70. There is a wonderful hepatologist at tulane university hospital doin alot of drug studies. Except for the occassional hurricaine it is a wonderful place to live. and the people are great in this town. Good luck in whatever you do.
Riba people that did not know I was on tx thought I was losing my mind I guess in a way I was. Had no social skills could have cared less if anyone spoke to me or not. It was me and my Riba. Ironically though I excelled as a nurse on that sh_t must have had more compassion to what it feels like to take meds that mess with you.
If it is any consolation, the high in Baton Rouge today was 72 and not a cloud in the sky. One of those “Mr. Blue Bird on my Shoulder” days The weather was nice but, it still couldn’t help from hating everyone that sucked air through their lungs. It is weird how this Riba works.
thanx for the RELAX ! this fricking weather sucks. since off tx reading lots of articles and learning alot on this forum. want to change docs wished he would have continued tx also. some seem to be so cut and dry about the 6 month cut off. a lady i work with husband used a doc that is very aggressive and likes to stick with tx. going to call for consult. like you said i need to relax. how long have you been svr
Deb
It's a done deal - say goodbye to that disease. I wish they had you extend on the last treatment to 72 that probably would have done it. I'm afriad of infergen - don't get me wrong I was going to do it but then ended up SVR at the end. I don't know how you guys handle it SOC was enough for me.

I live in NY it's miserable right now isn't it? When your body is ready again you will know it. You sure don't sound like you are up to it right now and as you said your not stage 4 so let it go. Relax. Get passed this crappy weather and wait until you get a few more rides in on that bike before you even think about letting it go. :)
yes, i did the original inteferon, 3x times a week. The ribo 1200, daily. I did ok physically on that.
Then I did peg once a week, and ribo 1200 again, I actually went UND, stayed that way till about 9 months. Then relasped.
I am not giving up, not yet, I am optimistic by nature, But have also dealt with this for so long, I had to find a balance. I am 1a,
I do think infergen for me has been a whole new ball game,
we will get there!
Deb
I have heard the Infergen can be more intense for some. Did you treat with anything else before Infergen. Dont give up !!!
What a stressful weekend, reminds us we are all mortal.
I think there is something to be said also about being relaxed and txing.
I am on Infergen now, For me (only talking about me) I am finding the physical sx, much harder.
I am past the first stressed phase, well beyond it. Kind of at the what will be, will be phase, not to say I am giving up. Just also want a good quality of life also.
ramble away sometimes we al need that, especially after such a hard weekend.
Take care
Deb
