hi i need some info on tx help.  i asked a while back how much the tx was and lots of you gave me great info about contacting commitment to care. is there any other places that can help or are they the only one?  we live in a small town i think that we may have to drive a ways for the tx.

Each of the three mfgrs of interferon provide patient assistance programs for those that are uninsured, underinsured and for people that are declined by their carriers for one reason or another. This assistance is subject to approval based on your personal financial situation, and is generally income based, rather than asset based.

Call the following for applications:

Pegassist (Roche):
877-734-2797

Commitment to Care (Schering-Plough):
800-521-7157

Infergen:
888-696-8036

I hope this helps a bit,

Bill

If you need help for the cost of meds you can always go to https://www.pparx.org. They have a lot of different types of programs. You can also call Roche Patient Assistance 866-247-5084.

Hope this helps,

GL

You betcha. If some of the numbers are outdated, get back to us, or google them for new ones. I've had that list on file for a bit,
