I don't have a pot large enough for a Moose. By the way. Thanks for sending us your Geese every late fall-love em! Beautiful...and tasty!
You boiled your rooster alive and ate him because the poor creature was hungry,..i am hiding my pets.
try hanging some green and red different sized ornaments around your patio -make sure they are secure or the dumb birds will swallow them. This worked for my Blue Jay attack in my small garden in Houston. Down home I had a rooster that would glide from his roost and snatch a sandwich or anything else he thought edible out of our hands if we wern't looking Made a barbecue difficult so we stewed him one Cold Sunday-delicious-actually better than a hen.
Frank, My chickens wiped out my patio tomatoes the last 2 years. They also eat fleas, ticks & japanese beetles, plus who knows what other bugs. I have 5 German Shepherds and so far (fingers crossed) no fleas or ticks. I have been thinking about adding guineas, right now I have 7 baby chicks that I hatched in an incubator.
Rocker, having a garden is great and so are fresh eggs. I HAD pygmy goats and they were a pain in the a$$. Ate my grape vines to the ground 3 years in a row, now 3 years later I have a good crop growing, yum......fresh made jelly.
