Does baking soda raise blood pressure?

I get frequent UTI's. I've also had problems with acid reflux for decades. Many have recommended baking soda in water as relief for both conditions. But I also have high blood pressure. Will baking soda raise blood pressure?

Guess I should add: I'm taking medications for hypertension and they are doing a good job keeoing it under control.

Hi, as baking soda has sodium, it may raise blood pressure values. Though there are controversial reports, best avoided. Regards.
