IS it okay to give furosemide 20mg iv with a bp of 130/50?

We have been advised by the doctor to give my mom 20mg furosemide through iv for 3 days because of edema, today was her last day and her bp was 130/50, the doctor told us that her bp should not be lower than 90/60, but we still gave her medcation since her normal should be around 110/60, was it a good idea or a bad one that we administered her furosemide with bp reading of 130/50? Thanks for your response
