Bartholin cyst & HPV

Hi, I was told in October that I have HPV. I am 50, no periods. I've had Bartholin cysts most of my adult life. I had one infected in December. But after that my cyst on my left side is still larger than on the other side & it is slightly painful, not much but kind of annoying, especially when I sit.
I made appointment with my gyn - the first available is in 2 months - in June for 6 months Pap for HPV. I am just worried about that cyst - I've read that it can become cancerous after menopause. Would bartholin cancer be painful?
I'd be willing to pay (no insurance) for ultrasound just to make sure that it isn't cancer but where can I find the facility? I live in North Hollywood, CA.
